Alright, so i've been on here before asking for a solution to why my display driver crashes randomly while i'm gaming, and to no success. When i swapped out my Radeon 7850, to my GTX660ti, the issue softened. What i mean is that it happens less often now.

Is it possible that another part of my system might be incompatible? My current build is:

1. Corsair TX750 power supply
2. GTX660ti Video card
3. Corsair High Perform Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz2x4 (RAM)
4. Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990FX AM3+ Motherboard
5. AMD FX-6100 X6 3300MHZ 14MB 95W AM3+ (CPU)
6. Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Full Tower Gaming Case
7. Seagate 1.5TB Serial ATA HD 7200/64MB/SATA-6G
8. HP 24X DVDRW SATA w/Lightscribe Retail

Solution
sense all your drivers are good, doesn't seem to be any compatibility issues. It might be the monitor that's causing the problem?

"Go to control panel > device manager > monitor >
Then right click on whatever is in the monitor list then click Properties
Then go to the Details tab and find Hardware ID field in the drop down menu. Check the other ones too.

Anything with a SEC means Samsung. Anything with LPL means LG. I dont know about the other manufacturers."

See if that might give you more details about the monitor. It's got to be real old if there's no manufacturers name on it or when using device manager. If it's old enough I'm thinking it's conflicting with the display driver

I tried to answer yesterday, but for some reason i kept getting an error. Anyway, I checked my monitor and all I can really tell you is that it's a cheap Flatron W2061TQ, it's output is VGA, but my video card is DVI, so i use a converter. Could that be the cause?

No, using a converter won't be the issue. I've used them before and never had a problem. You could try installing a previous stable display driver and see if that works. Other than that I can't see why it's crashing, not unless it's the GPU it's self.
