Hello guys!

Here are my specs: http://i.imgur.com/39gicJz.jpg

I'm thinking about replacing my old video card, ati 5770 with MSI GeForce GTX 660 to get most out of my pc.

My plan is to chill with this build maybe 2 years more and after that replace psu, cpu, and motherboard.

So, the question is, Can my old antec earthwatt 500W handle my current pc (-5770 obviously) + gtx 660 ?

The recommendation is "Geforce GTX 660 - 24A and a 450W PSU minimum" but after what i have read on the interwebs (random forums etc), I became unsure and wanted to ask you guys.

Thank you for helping.

Hi - Yes you are fine - there are 4 diff model #'s of the EA 500 - but they all have between 34 & 37amps
(the 500D Green actualy has 41 +12v amps) on the +12v rail(s), your sys does need the 24a you read about,
so you have enough to OC if you wish.
