Specs will say maximum brightness. You cannot believe those contrast ratio numbers, they are just marketing. There is no way to know if the monitor is better looking unless you actually see it or just read a professional review which will measure every aspect.

Will it be brighter, i know the ratio is higher 10000:1 as opposed to 800:1 but anything else?
