More about deciding graphic card upgrade sapphire 7850
  1. I am not really sure on the performance of the 7850 but I do have a FX-8120 rig with a Sapphire HD 7950 and it does very good in every game I have played. I have not had any problems playing at 1080p ultra/high settings in every game I have played. I really think a 7950 would do you just fine.

a 760 would be a good deal better than the 7850 for around 250$ . Which is pretty good price considering the 7950 is usually 30-100 more and the performance isn't a ton better. I have a 7950 twin frozr, which is nice. But if i could have done it over again would have gotten the 770.

thank you for your answer..but i want to be future proof..and ofcourse at present i have money only for one of the component..either gpu or cpu
so many graphic hungry games are coming like BF4. COD ghost ,AC 4 etc..
so i want to make sure that my cpu can handle them..its kind of old rig..so i can actually get cpu upgrade first instead of gpu if its really needed...
    ..so what you suggest??

ok so will gtx 760 make me future proof for at least 2 years...i am not playing on more then 1920*1080 resolution?
but i want more then 45 fps(at least) and i am from india..760 still not released yet..but it will be soon and will be priced around 350$(21000 INR)
and i can get sapphire 7950 3 gb around 23000 INR(385 $)..so what you suggest??
and my main question here is should i upgrade my cpu first or gpu as i can afford only one upgrade at present??
