Alright, so this is new. Here's just a couple things to get started.
1. My router:

2. My wireless adapter:

So ever since i upgraded from my old wrt54g linksys router, I've been having constant connection drops. Even when I can stay connected, the speed changes between 300 mbps and 1mbps! All the time, my computer says that my signal strength is excellent, no matter what the speed is! I never had these problems on my old router. I've reset the router to factory specs and that didn't help. Any ideas please? this is very aggravating!

That does absolutely no good. If my options are upgraded router that goes really fast and then slow, or old router that is always slow, why on earth would I pick the old one? That's like saying I should use DOS because it barely has anything that can go wrong.
