I bought a laptop with a Nvidia GT 660M gpu, but when I check the specs it says I'm currently using Intel HD graphics 4000

When I go to the NVIDIA control panel it says "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA gpu". If I have the 660M inside my laptop why is it saying I'm using the Intel HD graphics 4000?

Solution
Didn't see that exact one on MSI site, but from the looks they all use Optimus (http://www.msimobile.com/level3_productpage.aspx?cid=6&id=371). Fire up GPU-Z or the like, then Furmark or something that puts a real load on the gpu, and see what it says.
