psu question for my build, is 850w enough?

Ok, so I'm already ordering and gathering parts locally to build my first awesome gaming rig, and really the only thing I'm uncertain on (unless someone here knows something in this build isn't compatible for some reason) really is the psu.. How much do I need? Right now I'm looking at the corsair enthusiast 850m 80+ bronze.. Is that enough juice for this build, or do I need to jump up to 1000w?

-Case - Corsair Vengeance Series Black C70

-Motherboard - ASUS CROSSHAIR V FORMULA AM3+ 990FX

-CPU - AMD FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition

-CPU cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

-RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz

-SSD - Samsung 840 256gb ssd, no hdd now, but later a 1tb Blue drive probably

-GPU - 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 OC with Boost 3GB DDR5

-DVD - dvd rw-cd

-And i'll probably add 2-4 red led fans too.

The system will be on 24/7 either mining litecoin, or being used for gaming. Sorry kinda noobish in this territory, I'm pretty good with tech, but this will be my first system.

Seriously, do not get that case, it is said to be not so good by many review sites including AnandTech, one of the best tech sites. You can read their review here http://www.anandtech.com/show/5834/corsair-vengeance-c70-case-review-going-for-the-gamers/7

Also, can you tell me your overall budget, as i can see you are throwing a lot of money on Motherboard and Crossfiring stuff. Can you tell me your budget. I am sure that I would be able to recommend you something better.

Anyways Crossfire is not at all recommended by me. It is very poor in performance when compared to the Nvidia SLI.

There are quite a lot of flaws in your build. Will you be kind enough to just tell me your complete budget? I am sure that i would pick up something better.

And yeah, a 850W PSU should be plenty for this system, though I would not recommend getting this system at all.

Hi - In answer to your question does a Corsair TX850 have enough power for a
system running CF with 2 7970's, and the answer is yes it does.

However, plz seriously consider what Sangeet is telling you with regard to
CF on 7970's. I agree with him, you will be disappointed. If you feel you
must run two GPU's, then at this point in time, you should go with
2 - gtx 770's in SLI.

I also believe with the type of sys you are assembling you should do as
Sangeet suggests and post your budget and get some opinions. You don't
have to accept anyone's advice, but at least you'll get some valid input which
will help you in optimizing your build.

Thanks for the replies, I'm trying to just stay below $1,700 and get the best i can on that range, however nvidia gpus are not an option as they are absolutely terrible for mining crypto-currency. I've seen lots of talk over the crossfire issues, but i must stick with newer amd cards for that reason, i hear patched drivers are in the works though. I have already purchased most of the items or found deals on them, with everything except gpus so far im at $950.

Could you guys please elaborate on what my major flaws are in this build?

Thanks, i went ahead and ordered everything, i found better deals on most of those (you only beat me on the cpu by $10, the psu by $25, and by $50 on the case but i went ahead and got the c70 just cause i really like the look of it) and I managed to snag 2 sapphire vapor-x 7970s for only 340/ea (+a free copy of metro last night) so my final total was $1,597 w/tax&shipping incl.

Wish i had waited in the psu to get if for $82 though. Could've nudged it down to barely over $1,500 with a couple of your deals :p

Anyway thanks everyone for advice and answers. If i run into any problems I know this is a great place for help now :)

Some flaws in this build :
1. The cooler is literally a trash and might not be able to keep up with even mild overclocks above 4.4 Ghz.
2. There is no HDD.
3. So are you going with a Corsair 80 Plus Bronze PSU for a 1700 dollar rig. Nothing less than a Seasonic 80 Plus Gold should be brought for that rig.
4. Crossfiring literally sucks, there are a tonne of issues with crossfiring currently and I and anyone who has a bit of knowledge about the current condition of going dual GPU with AMD would never ever go for the Crossfire. This is the most important point.

I feel sorry for the guy if he actually has ordered these parts. Sigh..!!

For similar price, this is a better build. I do not insult build of others, but I cannot really help it when anyone suggests bad things in this price range. I had to come up with something better.

Sir, while i appreciate your feedback.. You quite frankly aren't listening to my needs.
1 my build cost me $1600(1,597 to be exact) yours is nearly 1800 before mail in rebates
2 I cannot go with nvidia gpus, i do not care if they have double the framerates even, nvidia is garbage for mining. I personally prefer nvidia as well, its not an option.
3 I would only run crossfire on games it doesn't effect, I'll just use a single for gaming until the fix is out.
4 I do not need a hdd at this time, my gaming laptops only 256gb and it does all my office type work fine, and has several games installed, so my gaming rig will need even less space at this time.

I will consider any advice for fixes relevant for my build however, I might opt to get water cooling instead of the hyper 212, though i don't plan on over clocking the cpu. I might not use crossfire, but I'm getting 2 amd gpus. Also 750W doesn't seem like enough?
