which external harddisk is good

I have tons of data in my computer. i want to store in in harddisk.
i am going to buy the harddisk of 2tb but there are harddisk of many company. so can anybody know which harddisk is good to store the data like videos.

videos can be stored an just about any drive. Which vendor do you prefer and perhaps we can make a suggestion based on whats available.

If you buy from Neweggg, I suggest boxed drives, Newegg doesnt do so good in packing their bare (OEM) drives for shipping.
I just bought 2 of these last month and so far so good. Hitachi makes these drives and brands them for Toshiba
