windows 7 installation problem

Right now in my laptop there is no window ... i m trying to install windows 7 64 bit from USB when i boot that USB in UEFI mode ... it boots but say this -

window failed to start something something

File : \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

and when i press enter it loads file but stucks at the screen STARTING WINDOWS and remaing at that for like hours ..

I cant find any solution anywhere plz help ...

It sounds like your bootable USB might be corrupted or something. I would try reformatting the USB and putting Windows 7 back on it. Make sure the .ISO is a non modified version.

There's a program called WinToBoot that I have used before to make a bootable USB. Seemed to work well for me. I have done this many times with no problems, let me know if you need any more help.

Installing Windows 7 from a USB stick using UEFI is a slightly different process than from a USB stick in bios mode. Take a look HERE or HERE for details on preparing the stick for a UEFI install. Since you already have the stick prepared for bios mode in may just be easier to install in bios mode.
