I tried to run the benchmark and it just continuously stays on the loading screen (I realize this must be a bad sign). The website states they lowered the system requirements for FFXIV 2.0. I normally wouldn't think my little PC could run this game, but it did run WoW quite well in the past. I have a PS3 and the game on preorder. I am just trying to see if I can get the PC versoin so my hubby can play. If I can get him hooked, there will be much less groaning, grumbling, eye rolling while I'm playing! Specs are as follows:
Computer HP Slimline s3500f
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium 64-bit edition
Processor
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+
Processor Speed
2.80GHz(2)
Chipset
•nVidia nForce 430 chipset
Cache (L2)
1MB L2 Cache
Memory-
4096MB PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM memory
•Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE
•NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics with TurboCache with 128MB dedicated
graphics memory. Up to 1343MB Total Available Graphics Memory as
allocated by Windows Vista
Memory Type DDR2
As you may know graphic cards for slimlines are a pain....I bought one (low profile-as I do have a PCI express expansion slot) and it still didn't fit for some reason. This was back when I thought WoW wouldn't run (but it did).

I would be shocked if you got FFXIV running on that PC - the new release has lower system requirements than the very robust (at the time) requirements for the original FFXIV, but that is an extremely old rig at this point. World of Warcraft's guts, remember, are still that of a 12-year-old game.
