Hi I'm looking to get a gtx 760 but I'mm not sure which one to choose out of all the non reference cards. I think either ASUS or MSI would be ideal. But I need to know I can run it with my 450W PSU. It is from Thermaltake so it's good, however I can't upgrade since it's built into the case. Thanks for the help!

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 760 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most important factor.

If your power supply is the Thermaltake TT-450NL2NK then it probably only has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 25 Amps.

You should be able to provide us with the power supply unit's exact model number.

Well, it was built in to the case so I'm not sure how to check.

There are only four screws on the back of the case holding the power supply unit.

The side of the power supply unit should also have a label affixed to it that shows you what the capacity of the +12V rail is.

I'll have to see if I can remove it later.
