Hi all,

I have an AMD sempron le-1250 that I overclocked from 2.2 to 2.7ghz. I tested for stability and all was fine.

I then restarted my PC and it seems to be running slower, boot-up takes double the time.

Why is this? Could y'all give me some pointers. Btw I used a program to overclock which was nvidia nTune.

Thanks

Performance & stability are two different things to check out, and boot time issue is performance related, so it could mean that your current OC is not working properly, hardware problem, or windows corruption.

uninstall nTune (no software overclocking), and OC to 2.7ghz in BIOs and test boot time again. If no go, reinstall OS just to rule out software problem causing it. If worked, stress test using prime95.
