Which board is better for its price?

I wouldn't mind spending the extra $10, but is it worth it?

It turns out that the second one won't work with my CPU so I willl be getting the first one.

and you need discrete VGA .. maybe Radeon 6870 or higher

I had the Gigabyte 78LMT board and it was terrible.
I bought it because it just about was free with a processor that I bought.
Stay away from that board, I think I had a 9800 gtx at the time and I felt like I was having a bottle neck effect from the motherboard.
Go for the asrock...I would say try to get like 30-40 more bucks and get a gigabyte 970a-ud3.
Should get a discount if purchased with a processor at microcenter.

To bad you don't live in Houston; I was thinking about selling my 990.
