I have a Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ in my PC right now, with 4GBs of ram and I'm about to get a Radeon HD 7770.
However, I also want to upgrade my processor.
I have a Pentium D 945 lying around, and I know that most games don't require more than 2 cores, so keeping that in mind, shouldn't the 945 be a very formidable CPU?
if you guys think that it's not up to the mark to play Hitman Absolution, GTA IV, Far cry 3, then which CPU should I get?
I have these options :
1) i3 2100
2) i3 2400
3) i3 3220
4) i5 2400
5) i5 2500k
5) i5 3560k
I put them in price order, 1 is cheapest, 5 is most expensive.
