Explorer going highwire using 100% of RAM causing PC to crash with no programms running

Right after start up windows explorer keeps on using more RAM starting with 100'000kb goes up to 7'500'000kb until all physical memory is occupied and system crashes, with no programms running. started occuring since yesterday 21.July.2013

Did you install a new software recently? Maybe an add-on or something that interacts with Windows Explorer. Frankly I never heard of such a behavior, did you search on google for any known issue about this?

In any case, you could try a system restore prior to July 22.

I did not install any new softwares. Also i got to this site after searching in google.
I also did a system restore right before writing this article
didnt solve the problem
