Temperatures - just a little concerned.

Hi guys.

I currently have this system:

Intel i5 - 3570k (with stock cooler)
ASRock Extreme 4 m-ATX motherboard
GPU: GTX 670
600W Corsair Builder
8gb ram,
1terrobyte HDD,

Now, I like to record in-game footage of World of Warcraft.

MY CPU On Idle it seems to be around 45 - 50 degrees with NO games being played. literally just the internet and Skype.

When I actually start playing the game iw ill go up to around 60-65. Then when I record it will go up to around 70-75..

Is that reasonable and is it ok to carry on? I also live stream which sees the same temperatures as recording. I know playing without recording temperatures are fine but I'm just a little concerned with the temps when recording.

Thanks :) I know Ivy bridges are able to be hotter etc, just a little concerned and don't have enough money right now to purchase an aftermarket cooler just yet.

Temps aren't critical, although a little high for my taste.

For instance, I have a i5-2500K with a stock cooler, very similar to what you have and my temps on idle are around 35C and under load between 50-60C. So it's roughly 10-15C lower than you. Do you have a case with good airflow? I have the Antec Nine Hundred and it has 2 x 120mm intake fans and one huge 200mm fan for exhaust.

I have a CiT Templar Case, it's Micro ATX, not the best I must admit.

Well I do only have one case fan which is at the rear blowing air out of the case. I need to purchase another case fan which blows air in. Is that what you suggest? I'm not the best with all the terminology etc..

Your case seems to have a side intake/vent. I do not think a front fan is needed for you.

I was talking about getting a cheap cooler to help the temperatures and removing the rear vents portion with a cutting tool to allow better airflow.

As an example of what I mean. I know this is a power supply, but yeah, that :)
