Hi all,

I have just returned from a trip with many videos/photos taken on my camera's 4GB SD card. When I insert it into a standard card reader and into my PC - the new drive (F:\) shows up, and it says it's almost full, which is correct, but when I access the drive there's only one folder there - "RECYCLER" (hidden).

No other folders, photos, videos appear - but when I put the card back into my camera - it's all there.

Any ideas of how to get them onto my PC? Is my reader acting up, and I should just get a new one? The reader works with other SD cards just fine...

Thanks!

Do you have a USB cable that came with your camera? If so, you should just be able to connect the camera to the computer and have the windows picture import wizard launch. Import your pictures using the wizard.

You may need to read your camera manual. Some cameras need to be set to playback mode in order for the picture wizard to launch.
