Ubuntu Resolution Problem

Hi, i have recently installed ubuntu 13.04 and the left and top sides are cut off. I can only see half of the taskbar. I had tryed tweakign the overscan but i couldnt find a option to do this. Although i think myTV might be the problem since i took a screenshot and the borders were'nt cut off.

AMD Athlon x4
Nvidia Geforce 650 TI

Solution
The zoom option has to be changed to the correct aspect ratio in the TV menu.

Check the aspect ratio in the display settings(its shown in brackets alongwith the resolution) in Ubuntu.

If there is a "Screen Fit" option available(in the TV menu) you can try that too.
