Hello, I am looking to get the Cooler Master hyper 212 Evo for my AMD FX 4100. Firstly I have received confirmation that It will fit on my motherboard with ram sticks installed. My motherboard: http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3...

However, I am worried that it will not fit inside my case or may do with a small space to spare. My case: http://www.lmc.com.au/products/Case/LMC/577756/X11_X-St...(8818)

The main worry is the fact that the pc has two 120mm fans on the inside case therefore removing even more space, will it fit?

Thanks in advance.

Will it fit? "Maybe"

From what I can tell, yours is 203mm wide. Subtract the side fan, tray, motherboard, standoffs....

First off my setup
NZXT Source 210 Elite (195mm wide)
ASRock fm2A85X
APU 6800K
Hyper EVOII

With this setup and no side fan I have roughly 1-2mm to spare between the EVO and the case wall. depending on the dimensions of you side fan you may or may not fit this, but with 203mm to play with I would guess you have roughly 10-11mm to play with between the cooler and case wall. That is a guess as your standoffs and CPU/mobo height could adjust this by a few mm.

Thanks for your contributions, i have came to the conclusion that I would like to get a new pc case due to the fact that I want a better fit for the cooler master hyper 212 evo and be able to expand my pc in the future when it is needed. I am looking for a large pc case that would easily support the cooler but have the power supply in the top of the case if possible which also has good air flow. In addition I do not have a lot of money to spend but any suggestions would be superb!

Thanks.

Quick edit, It would need to support my motherboard which is a Gigabyte m68mt-s2 (AM3+)

Yes it will fit am3+

Get these cases for under 30$ but for great performance

Case: NZXT Gamma Classic (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Newegg)

Or

Case: Azza Triton 401 ATX Mid Tower Case ($25.99 @ Newegg)

Both will fit 212 evo

I apologise for the late response and thanks for the pc cases however I am unable to get access to the in the UK as no one is stocking them. I have managed to find this case and have heard good of it.

The case: http://www.vip-computers.com/uk/shop/product.aspx?produ...

Will this also support my motherboard which was previously mentioned?

thanks.
