New graphics Card and Fan wont spin

About a week ago I bought the gtx 650 ti boost and a 750w psu. The card it self still shows display but when I try to play games it over heat and shuts it self down.

hang-the-9
Make sure your power is plugged in properly and the fan power is also plugged in. Do not keep trying to use the card if the fan does not work, it will be damaged beyond repair in short order.

Return the card and get another one, no sense trying to work on the fan yourself if it's a new card.

Ok thanks, It is plugged in all the way, I've also tried using my other 6 pin and the adapter that the card came with still didnt spin so I would have to go get another card?
