Hello, I am currently working with my cousin to set up a server that will be able to 1) Keep inventory 2) Be remote accessible 3) Be secure. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

You really laid out nothing to go by.... Check out the "how to ask for build advice" thread to give us more information. In addition to this you should include the number of users, amount of data stored, intended use / roles, and anything else business related this server is going to be used for. Also, keep in mind a Windows Server OS license is roughly $600...

Thank you for the advice Sadams04,
We will be purchasing parts within the next two weeks.
The server will be used to transfer inventory information between about 5 computers(prices, stock, pictures, etc.)
We're looking to make this computer up-gradable, with the possibility of expanding to extra users not locally connected. I hope this is sufficient information! Sorry if it's not :(!
