Windows accepts my hard drive but doesnt appear in My Computer.

Hi.
My hard drive is a My Passport0740. When i plug it into my computer the LED light turns on the Safely Eject Hardware appears in the bottom right corner but it is not in My Computer and only appears in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. This problem appears on all the computers I've tried to plug it into.

Any help will be useful

Keep looking. The drive is partitioned into 2 parts. One is for the drivers and the other is for data storage. The part for data storage is the part that has no drive letter. Look under administrative tools, computer management, storage, disk management. Then look at the drives. One will not have a drive letter. Look at the disk size to verify you have the right drive.

I tried that when i go into Disk Management my hard drive does not appear. However i have managed to find it under Device Manager.
