Well, my ram says it is DDR3 1866 while my Mobo Only Supports The Following: 4×240pin DDR3 3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/1600/1333

Will my ram still work in this mobo?
Also, Will My Cpu Cooler collide with my ram stick and damage it? The Cpu Cooler is kinda big just wondering. Also wondering if CPU Cooler is compatible with Intel i5 4670 ( Haswell ).

Solution
Yes it will support that DRAM it has just cut out listing EVERYTHING 1600, 1866, 2000, 2133, 2400, 2600, 2666, 2800 -----all are supported...if a clearance issue run the sticks in slots 2-4 instead of 1-3
Yes the ram will work with the mobo. Yes, the cooler works on socket 1150 (Haswell). I think you will run into issues with clearance on the heat spreaders. There is really no need for the spreaders other than the bling factor - get standard size ram instead.

What do u mean by clearance issue? Do u mean the if the cpu blocks the ram slot thats closest to the cpu cooler i use ram slots 1 and 3?

What do u mean i will run into issues with clearance on the heat spreaders? Do the heat spreaders make the stick higher in height?

When u said normal sized ram, what are some traits of a normal sized ram? Maybe someone can direct me to a normal sized ram DDR3 1866 PC3 14900(2x8gb) on newegg? :D

The spreaders stick up far enough to interfere with the installation of the noctua (or other air coolers). Normal size ram = no heat spreaders. Look at THIS ram or THIS ram.

I agree with Mark go with the normal memory modules (low profile) like the ones mentioned in the above memory. Since, you have a cooler and stuff heat spreaders are not a necessity unless you are trying to overclock. Good luck. I'd go with any of the above recommendations or go with ValueRAM like Kingston, Crucial etc.

Those actually do have heat spreaders but just not very high profile ones :p

Yea I've seen this in vids, ill just get a Ram stick thats low profile that still has a heatspeader :)
Wanna give me some suggestions on 2x8gb ones? :p

==============================================================================
Actually, ill stick to my original choice since I want need anymore than 16 gb ram. Plus, i think they are low profile anyhow
since people said they were in the comments:
"These aren't listed as low profile but I'd swear they are"
"Low Profile heat sinks"
Although, one person did say they weren't low profile:
"Not low profile with the heat sinks"

So anyone wanna tell me if they really are low profile?

Might look at the GSkill Ares or if want higher freq/performance the GSKill Trident, that's what I run on my Z77, they have the tall fins, but the upper part is removable, a small screw on either side and it slides right off, and with little heat increase, a negligible 2-3 degrees at stock

What do you think is better, Ares or the one i listed? (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
I can't really get the trident because I'm at a budget of 1500 and i don't want to go any higher....
I think Ares or Ripjaws X series will do lol...
IMO I like the RIpjaws for its look, but either will do. Not like I'm going to be staring at the Ram all day thinking its cool XD
