Hi,
I have a Samsung 840 on Asrock 970 extreme 4.
I have the last BIOS, updated the driversand made sure in the bios that AHCI was enabled.
But still samsung magician software shows that AHCI is not activated and I am getting very low preformances with my SSD.
Thank you

You aren't by any chance connected to SATA3_5 are you. Changing to AHCI mode is only for SATA3_1 thru 4. To put SATA3_5 and the eSATA port in AHCI mode, you need to enable 'combined mode'. But I recommend keeping the SSD in SATA3_1 thru 4.
Btw, here is a good tutorial for installing the SSD and getting the most out of it. There are a few pitfalls that can cause low speed and wasted space. They are a must: http://www.computing.net/howtos/show/solid-state-drive-ssd-tweaks-for-windows-7/552.html
