I recently attempted to up my TV size from my current LED 1080p 60hz 24 inch to a 46 with same specs, they gave me the wrong model- a 120hz 10ms response time 40 inch. This made my mouse feel sluggish and slow. like it had bad mouse acceleration on. My question is simply. the proper model they are now going to give me is a 46 inch 60hz 6.5ms response time LED TV, will i have or notice any mouse lag going from my current 24 inch 60hz 5ms response time TV to the 6.5ms response time tv? or is it not the response time that dictates the mouse lag, but rather the extra HZ adding frames that werent there?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

TLDR- will i notice or have any mouse lag going from a 5ms response time TV to a 6.5ms response time tv? thanks :) (both are 60hz LED 1080p) my current is a 24 inch, and my new is a 46.

SIDE NOTE= i also have my eyes on the Lg 42Ls3450 (42 inch) but sadly i cant find its response time anywhere online. can anyone find out for me?

Do you know why the 120hz 10ms response time tv gave me bad mouse sluggishness? like on my desktop and in game it was slow and sluggish and just unpleasant.

I found a review of the 46 inch with the 6.5ms response time. Guy says its a great monitor. but he was using it with VGA. id assume HDMI and VGA the only difference is picture quality, and the mouse wouldnt be affected at all. So i think im safe in assuming this 46incher is going to work out. Not to mention i also found actual PC monitors with the same hz level and 6.5ms response time, so if there are actual monitors with the same specs as this TV, looks like ill be set and wont be experiencing any mouse sluggishness. or am i assuming to much? :p lol

Called LG and they have received no reports of any input lag issues with the 42 inch model, and it has the GAMING MODE setting that ive heard helps eliminate all input lag. They couldnt tell me the response time however, but it being LG and them being one of the top 10 HDTV brands i think i should just trust that its going to be a great HQ set. and it would cost me 60 bucks vs the 90 id have to fork over for the 46 inch no name brand (returning this 120hz 40 inch for store credit). So cheaper and most likely better quality. Should i go LG then?
