active VGA to HDMI/displayport adaptor?

I have several VGA monitors and a Radeon HD 7750 GPU which only has HDMI, DVI, and displayport.

If I want to use 2 VGA monitors, what should I buy? DVI to VGA adaptor and a displayport to vga adaptor? VGA to DVI splitter?

I would like to use 3 monitors, but since HDMI is digital and VGA is analog, an adaptor would be expensive.

Is there anything I could do in order to use 3 VGA montors?

DVI-I is a combination of DVI-A and DVI-D. You can passively connect a VGA display to a DVI-I port by using just a cable or an adapter, no active components necessary.

You will need to use active adapters for the HDMI and DisplayPort links though.
