core temp not showing my processor

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but for some reason core temp is not showing my processor where it should show the model and platform, any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

  1. from the speed I am guessing an old Athlon or E6xxx series cpu? they don't support DTS or MSR (Model Specific Register) so program will not identify. Incidentally, this is also why your TJ Max is set at 100C (level for modern quad core like i5) instead of a likely 70-72C of older models. Basically, the program is likely useless if you are using an older processor. Might want to try Real Temps program, little more support for older processors

MSR is not set in Core Temps for Haswell - they haven't updated since February - try real temps.
