Specs:
ASUS K53SD
-Intel i7 2670QM @ 2.2GHz
-Windows 7 x64
-8Gb RAM
-Intel HD Graphics 3000
-NVIDIA GeForce 610m 2Gb
I have been having some real trouble with both my on-board and dedicated GPUs in my laptop that I'm fairly certain are just driver issues (I hope)
On-Board Problems
For a while now, whenever I restart my computer, my Intel HD Graphics 3000 has been defaulting my resolution to 640x480 instead of 1366x768 and I have to manually change it every time I restart my computer.
Dedicated Problems (Could Be Also On-Board Possibly)
A few weeks ago I started getting really bad frame drops in games whenever I moved my cursor (down to ~2fps when I could normally get ~30), so I tried opening NVIDIA control panel but got an error saying that I am not currently using a display connected to an NVIDIA GPU, but when I go into device manager it says the card is running normally.
What I've Done So Far
So far I have tried rolling back the drivers for both GPUs, uninstalled and reinstalled them using multiple different drivers (both beta and stable) off of both NVIDIA's and ASUS's sites. I also used Driver Sweeper when uninstalling them.
Has anyone had anything like this happen before and knows what's wrong and how to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated!
