Hi Folks,

I have an ASRock H61iCafe motherboard with currently two modules (Kingston KVR1333D3S8N9/4G) on it. Which Kit/module should I buy to extend it to 12GB? Is it even possible? According to http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/305308-30-asrock-h61icafe-working#4420162 I can mount up to four single-sided modules and my current modules look like they are single-sided. Has someone a recommendation for me?

Sidestory: I just bought G.Skill F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT and realized that I can't use them together with the previous 4GB Kingston. So I'll exchange them according to your tips, such that I can use 12GB RAM instead of max 8GB.

For 12GB of memory you must install two 4GB modules along with the existing. Though, mixing memory isn't recommended but it should work. I usually, refer this site for normal memory - http://www.memorystock.com/memory/ASRockH61iCafeMainboard.html , Crucial or Kingston. Try getting the memory from any of the above websites and you should be fine. Drop us an update once the upgrade is done. Cheers, mate!!

P.S: If you still have the Gskill memory then try installing the memory, you are not gonna harm anything just the computer wont boot if it is not compatible. Both are compatible and it should work or maybe try a BIOS update.
