Hi guys,once again,here am I.
While a few weeks ago I was asking whether I should CrossFire my 7850 and how can I improve my overclock on my now old Core i7 860 now I am here to ask why the hell was I asking those kind of things when apparently my PSU is dying...
That´s why I´m here again:to give the symptoms and check with you ´´doctors´´ :)
First things first.
I run a Core i7 860 O.C. @3.4 Ghz(not much,but enough to remove bottlenecks),an overclocked(overclock edition) 7850,liquid cooling.an HDD and a couple of fans.
A few days ago,I raised my CPU to 3,5 with HT ON,I overclocked the GPU to 1050/1450 and things were great...until now.
I´ve just got a white screen crash with vertical grey lines(got it removed by setting the GPU to default clocks and the CPU aswell) but now, games lock up while playing,Saints Row 3,for example,is not drawing the textures as it used to before(you reach buildings and the shadows and details are not yet drawn),PC freezes, keyboard freezes, controller goes crazy and locks in games and stuff like that.
What do you guys make of this story?
Is my PSU dying on me ?
My PSU is a Cooler Master Real Power M620 and it´s 3 years old now.

Not a PSU issue?
Come on,what else can it be?
I mean, read what I´ve just said, the things that happen even with the overclock removed.

Also, when i start and please take note,ONLY AND ONLY,Saints Row:The Thrid at ULTRA settings,I hear some kind of strange noise,a high pitch noise, really loud,it´s like a ´´tsssssssssss´´ (hahaha) don´t know the word in english, sorry for that, and it lasts for a couple of seconds and sounds like it´s coming from the PSU.
What do you make of this?

Sorry, missed that you removed the oc's...

Your graphics card could be failing too.
Can you test with a different psu or graphics card?

Is it possible that heat is an issue? could there be dust in the graphics card cooler, are the fans running?

Don´t think so.
The GPU´s just as cold as my gf´s heart hahahaha(idles at 28,the CPU at 38) and it worked just fine until now,I mean,I´ve had this weird feeling since day one about this PSU,i bought a GTX 295 and the PSU wasn´t capable of even starting the PC with the GPU on(just black screen and it´s a 620W PSU 80PLUS Modular),meanwhile a friend of mine with a cheaper PSU Aerocool 600W is using the GTX 295 now.
I can´t get another GPU to test, neither a PSU,any help through the forum is really appreciated.

I know it could be many things,it could be the GPU that´s failing,it could be the RAM,motherboard, and so on,but does it help if I say that these things started to happen when I overclocked, therefore, when I´ve put load on the PSU?
Also, and this is embarassing ,years back when I bought the PSU,I bought it from a reviews store as refurbished.

Me too.
Metro Last Light works great.
And why is it that now the textures are not being drawned as they used to be before the GPU overclock?
