What should I consider in buying SSD?

Solution
get the right size, buying too small gets expensive fast. don't forget you need to keep about 20% of the drive empty for garbage collection and trim to function properly. Losing 100gb on a 500gb drive sucks :-\ I dont know why they dont build in this space so you can get something close to whats on the package.

reliability. buying a drive only to find out it breaks down all the time is a nightmare. Luckily these have mostly been weeded out but it pays to read reviews esp at the manufacturers forums.

ease of warranty repair. Make sure you have a way to get the drive sent in to repair and that they have a decent turn around time or will even cross ship.
