I have a Sapphire HC 7770 GHz Edition OC with:
1 ea DVI
1 ea HDMI
2 ea DisplayPorts
The card came with no user guide. I can not find a user guide on the website. Where can I find a user manual.
I can't figure out how to connect the card to my two displays. They each have a VGA and DVI-D ports.
Are the 7770 Displayports mini Dps?
I am confused about a description about the Sapphire Dp to DVI adaptor. I wonder why an adaptor is needed? Reading about DVI and Dp says they have the same signals, just different connectors. What is the value of the adaptor?
What do I need to get from my 7770 Dp to the displays DVI? Is there any loss in function?
Later, I would like to upgrade my displays. What is the configuration to connect to multiple monitors. I understand that I can have a single Dp cable from the card to a display and then daisy chain to two more displays. I don't know the terminology. What do I need to look for in the displays to realize this function?
