Hey,

My friend is selling her MacBook (13-inch, Late 2009) ($60). Is this offer worth it it has 2Gb of ram would 4Gb be a big difference? The video card is only 256Mb. If i put 4gb of ram would it jump up to 512Mb? Also could someone link a SSD Upgrade kit that would work. I think the laptop is Serial-ATA 2 not 3. Is there a way to get a external graphics card working on that model? Maybe a GTX 640 or a Radeon 7650?

Thank you, Caleb

Why is she selling it? and the ram amount for vid depends on in the there bios if they have any you would think with 2 gig you could have allocated 512 mb for ram

It's got a Core 2 Duo (so it'll take the latest OS X, if you want), officially it'll take 4 Gig RAM (unofficially it'll take 8Gig), SATA 2 (3 Gig) don't know if it supports AHCI so an SSD will work but you might need one with good garbage collection (M4 for example); the graphics chip is a GeForce 9400M (2560x1600 external monitor) AFIK no way of upgrading.

If it has a good battery it's probably worth $60.

Okay I decided to buy it. Got League Of Legends Running at 30 FPS. Minecraft at 40 FPS. Garrys Mod at 30 FPS. MacTerraria at No lag. The Walking Dead Game no lag. GTA San Andreas 40 FPS.

1. I need a rubberized case for it. It is white and NOT the macbook pro. All the cases I find say macbook pro aluminum. Thats not what I have.

2. Can someone link me to some good ram.

3. Can someone link me to a SSD for this.

4. Can someone link a good portable (cheaper) mouse & keyboard.
