where can i buy a gtx 770 reference model, and should i buy it instead of the evga superclocked version. also i really like the illuminating geforce gtx logo, thats why i want it.

You can't, they were made as a placeholder while the card manufacturers got together their aftermarket coolers.

There are plenty of reference model GTX 770's out there if you look; the ones with the "Titan" cooler. Here's one on Newegg from EVGA complete with your glowing "Geforce GTX" logo:

All you have to do is look, they are certainly not a rarity. In-store might even be easier to find one if they don't turn over their stock that quickly.

Best Buy often sells the NVIDIA reference boards. I know all the ones where I live have at least a few reference 770s in stock.

Also just be wary of price matching stores. Most of them won't price match online stores, they'll only price match to brick and mortar locations.

CEX now sell the GTX 770 at £140,however at the time I did not know this so I purchased two GTX 770's on ebay by 2 different sellers for a total of £295 for the pair .
