Bios settings for Boot Order and Boot Manager questions Win 7.

System specs are in my signature except the bios version which is "P 1.70", OS which is Win 7 x64 Home Premium SP1 fully patched and case which is an Antec 900 II custom modified for PSU to be mounted with fan down.

Let me start off by saying every thing works fine and no issues at the moment this is just a curiosity question. I have three drives, 1 SSD for OS and current game being played (for the most part) and 2 HDD's for user files and storage. In my Bios settings I have a choice to set the "Boot Order". I currently have it set to boot the Hitachi 500GB drive first, the Seagate 1TB second and the SSD third. Which is IMO totally backwards because of the OS is on the SSD and the user files are on the Seagate. The bios auto set this and I didn't change it before the OS installation.

My first question is there any reason why I should change this to be SSD first, Seagate second, Hitachi third?

When I tried to switch them in the bios I got a "Boot manager missing" error. I understand why so this brings me to my next questions.

My second question is If I do Switch them can I use the original OS disk to fix the Issue?

My third question is If not what would I have to do to change the boot manager to read the drives in the correct order?

Let me remind you everything is working fine and this is more of a pet peeve than anything else.

Fourth question, I am curious why If it works in the configuration that it is in now why is there an option to change it?

Fifth question, If I remove the drive that is labeled as 1st boot (the Hitachi drive that is strictly used as storage only) Will I encounter boot manager Issues also? I have a second gaming PC that may need the extra storage at some point and has an X dock on it. This is the reason I am asking this question.

thank you for your time it is much appreciated
