I'm not really on a tight budget. I would like the build to be below $1000, but I'm able to go a couple hundreds above. So, any and all recommendations of upgrades will be extremely helpful! Thanks in advance.

I chose most of my components with parts that I need and not the unnecessary bells and whistle. I have no plans to overclock, or SLI or Crossfire my GPU.

That's fine; though upgrading from a 760 to a 770 doesn't make much sense.

As for the fans, you REALLY aren't going to be producing that much extra heat - considering that the case you're using is designed for silence, the fewer fans the better.

I'd go with one front or bottom intake and one top or back exhaust. Use the largest size fans the case will accept, as they'll be quieter.
The 3350p can't overclock, so there is absolutely no reason to buy a CPU cooler.

Other than that, it's a very nice setup. I'd consider trying to go for a 770, which would beat the 7970 anyways, but that's up to you. The 760 is VERY attractive for the price.

You sure? The reason I bought the i5 3550p is because I have no interest in overclocking. However, from reading different forums online, people like me who aren't overclocking still decided to buy an aftermarket cooler because the stock is noisy and just not that good. But I am buying a silenced case so I guess it will be okay, no? And, yes, I really do want the 770 but the price is pretty steep. Do you see anything here that I could downgrade to make room for a 770? I'm taking out the cooler so there that is!

The stock isn't that bad unless you're a silence enthusiast like me, and that case does a very good job of keeping things quiet.

The thing is, compared to the last generation of GPUs, the 770 isn't that expensive - it beats a $520 680, and smashes my $420 670.
The trouble is that there isn't a middling priced 760 ti yet.

Yeah, I'll think I'll stick to it and maybe upgrade in the future? I also have another question that I might ask in another thread but I want to know whether you can help me out first. I want to install some fans but I don't know how much to install and how I should set it up. Think you can help me out?

Funny, the R4 case already has stock fans in those two positions! I'll think I'll just run it stock first and then add fans if necessary! Thanks for all your help!
