xp install problem

Solution
Simple fix, you need to get a working bottable disk. Did you test this CD with another computer? Check for dirt/smudges? You will need to locate another XP disk, check if the PC vendor will send you one, or borrow one from someone you know. Just make sure it's the same version as your license key (OEM, Retail, Pro, Home, etc...). You may also have some luck buying a disk online, just don't use the key as many sellers sell pirated keys that either don't work or will be blocked after you install it. But the CDs they come with should be good.
