Your question

Which will have less input lag? (LED HDTV)

July 23, 2013 12:40:11 AM

In your experience which brand has less input lag

Seiki
http://www.seikidigital.com/support/archive/tv/ProdID53... (46 Inch im considering)

or

LG
http://www.lg.com/in/tvs/lg-42LS3450-full-hd-led-lcd-tv (42 Inch im considering)

READ BELOW FOR THE REASONS IM STUCK BETWEEN THESE 2 TV's

I was supposed to get the LG, but they didnt have any, then i asked them to put aside the 46 Seiki, went to get it, gave me the wrong model, a 40 inch 120hz with a horrid 10ms response time, and some VERY VERY VERY bad input lag on my mouse (now i have to take it back and they dont give refunds so i have to accept store credit, and these are the only 2 tvs they have that are in my price and spec range). So now im paranoid. I have a cheap FLUID 24 inch 60hz LED (5ms response time) and it has no input lag issues (that i can notice) FLUID is a cheap in house brand of The Source. (google it they used to be Radio Shack) All i wanted was the same performance of the cheap FLUID but bigger.

So do i go Seiki or LG.

Which will be better for use as a monitor. (the 24inch LED TV works great as a monitor- i just want something bigger)

my current/old tv that i use as a monitor= http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product.aspx?product=160...

TLDR= LG, or Seiki for less to no input lag.

Personal experiences with these brands welcome.

EXTRA INFO
the 46 inch Seiki has a 6.5 ms response time.
the 42 inch LG does not list its response time anywhere online
BOTH ARE 60HZ 1080p LED HDTVs
