I plan on mainly gaming on my new PC. I would like to play many games mostly at max eg: Far cry 3, Max Payne 3, metro last light etc.. My GPU is Nvidia GTX 760 and I was wondering if the Pentium G2120 would bottleneck when gaming. If so please suggest other CPU's that would be good for gaming and Intel based.

Solution
Pentium G2120 is pretty fast, but nowadays games need more CPU cores and threads to process gaming data. G2120 is good to pair with AMD HD 7700 series/7800 series or Nvidia GTX 650 series/ 660 series, but GTX 760 is equivalent with AMD HD 7870 and GTX 670, so as a high-end card it will be bottlenecked by the G2120 CPU because it's designed for high/max settings gaming. Probably G2120 + GTX 760 will do fine in older games in high settings but the CPU will gradually bottleneck the 760 in the future or coming games.

May I suggest, that if your budget is tight to get a i5, u could go for Athlon II 750K(This quad-core CPU still may bottleneck the 760 but will do better than dual-core G2120) or AMD FX-6300(using 970/990X/990FX chipset but...

Simply because it's dual core, I would have to say no. You'd need at least an i3 to push the potential of the 760 in modern games, if not an i5, especially since you're gunning for Max settings. For Max, I'd say get an i5. Games are becoming more and more multithreaded so you'd need more power.

But u'r a Intel boy, so go for i3-3220/3240 at least to gain more CPU power (it's dual-core but have four threads, and intel's efficiency make this CPU better than most of the AMD's quad-core CPU). If u really wanna high performance, u should get the money by all means and get a i5-3350p (save your money by chopping out an useless IGP)

And what do you think guys which cpu I could buy at the same price of the g2120 for 65$? I'm looking for an amd APU, maybe a6...because i don't have a graphic card and intel graphic sucks. which do you think is better?

For koral45:

A6's gfx is better than Pentium's iGP but only on par w/ i3's HD 4000 gpu, so they both sucks if u'r serious in gaming. U should at least consider a Athlon II X4 750K CPU or a Phenom II X4 965 CPU, better go for a FX-6300 CPU which is considered the best for budget gaming build
