Hi, Just getting a second opinion of the HTPC Build I am planning that I have spec'd out below...

CPU: AMD A10 6800K
Motherboard: MSI FM2-A75IA-E53
Ram: Geil Evo DDR3 2133MHz - 8GB (Considering removing the ram heatsinks as may interfere with the CPU Heatsink - Need opinion on this)
Case: Envizage MTX 006B
Heatsink: Artic Cooling Freezer 11
PSU: Seasonic 250W Flex
DVD RW: Pioneer TD11RS 2.5"
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500 GB 7200RPM SATA III 3.5"

My main issue is the the Heatsink with interfering with other components.

Thanks.

Solution
1) Your selected heatsink does not appear to be AMD socket compatible. In fact, I'm not finding any low-profile coolers that specifically state FM2 compliant; only FM1 (which probably works).
2) Given that you're only going with a 250 power supply, I'd consider dropping down to the AMD A8-6500 65watt CPU.
3) You don't need DDR3-2133 RAM. Not finding the specs on this specific set of RAM, but the motherboard requires 1.5v RAM modules.

Yea just realised, I forgot to check the coolers compatibility but all FM1/AM3 type heatsinks are compatible for FM2, I've checked this exact same mount just different socket.

The PSU Calculator recommends 204w of power for the rig and it adds extra wattage to the result I believe?

I've checked the DDR3 Mhz and it is compatible with the motherboard, the reason I've went for the fast ram is because the APU graphics shares the ram memory therefore it is important for it to be fast, Apparently their has been 10 - 15 fps differences seen by changing the computers ram speed.

Not surprisingly, I didn't find Geil memory modules listed on the motherboard memory support list (doesn't mean that much). The only discrepancy I did find, was in the specs of the board. The detailed specs state:

Supports two unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866/2133*(OC) DRAM, 16GB Max

Yet, clearly, they list 1.65 Volt memory on the OC memory support list. :??:

I've not fully decided on the RAM yet so RAM can easily be changed, I'll need to try and find some high mhz ram that runs at lower voltage, I never looked at the voltage for that ram I listed and it seems pretty high for the ram considering my main gaming rig has 2133Mhz ram that runs at 1.5v
