Games Shutting Down Randomly

ok so after spending a couple of days at this, i have been trying to find a solution to my games randomly shutting down, computer freezing up permanently untill restart and blue screens.

My parts are:
i5-3570k OC @ 4.4ghz - most considered culprit
EVGA Gtx 660 ti - i have used msi afterburner to change fan speeds to near max so it's running way more cooler.
Adata SX900 128gb and WD Caviar Black 1tb - i used a program to check all the sectors and they seem to be fine
8gb of samsung ram ( don't know model name ) - i have yet to run a memtest but i would have not thought my ram would be the cause.
I also have 4 case fans ( intake - front/bottom out-take - top/back.

Now i was wondering what you guys think the problem might be, i am thinking it's a cpu overheating problem because after using HWMonitor i found the max temps closing in to around 58 c which is way too hot for a cpu especially at 4.4ghz. I am going to take it down to 4ghz later but untill then i would appreciate any other suggestions of what to try.

If you mean i5 3570k then no, mine runs at 80 C max and i can play any game without shutting down, freezing or stuttering(i am running a 4.4 ghz overclock as well)

Package Specifications
Max CPU Configuration 1
TCASE 67.4°C
Package Size 37.5mm x 37.5mm
Sockets Supported FCLGA1155
Low Halogen Options Available See MDDS

I would say it is the power supply. whats your PSU wattage? you should have 550 watts or so.

then that's enough power...maybe its faulty. Test the memory, blue screens are caused mainly by faulty RAM memory. Unless someone else says otherwise the PSU looks like the culprit in this case.
