hi all,
i was trying to use two ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro graphic cards to get a quad screen working. i am using a dell system. my problem is only one set of monitors are getting powered up. I am using VGA cables for the connection. Two cards and four monitors are detected by the system, however ,when I check the adapter resources, I can see only one I/O range. The monitors connected to that adapter is not working. Whereas the second adapter resource shows three I/O ranges. I don’t know if that is causing the problem. The working monitors are identified as plug and play monitors on ATI Radeon, the non working ones are identified as default monitor on ATI Radeon.cross fire is disabled. Can any one please help me to find a solution to this issue.
thanks

Did you put the crossfire cable between the cards? You cannot crossfire and use 4 screens, the cards have to run in independent mode.

You can use only one Video card in PCIE slot. Additional cards in PCI slots would not work in tandem, there is no SLI or Crossfire here.

If you must connect 4 monitors at once, Galaxy 61TGF4AM5UNX MDT GeForce GT 610 1GB 64-bit DDR3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is your only cheap option.

Anything else I can help you with?

Yes, you are right. Also, Dell setup BIOS so that video card can be installed only into PCIE slot, if regular PCI video card installed in PCI slot it should not work.
