ok, so i fired up my pc yesterday and after playing metro last light for awhile, it went to a black screen and was buzzing from the speakers. so i rebooted, started playing, same thing happened. i then rebooted, played battlefield 3, and the system froze. this only happens when playing games, and it's not the gpu's because i can leave heaven 4.0 running all day long with no crashing or freezes. so i'm either thinking its a nvidia driver issue, bad memory, or a bad psu. here is my rig:

psu-thermaltake tr2 850watt black widow (had for about a year with 0 problems)
cpu- amd fx 8350
mem- patriot 16gb 1866mhz
gpu- nvidia brand 660ti in SLI
cpu cooler-corsair h55

hardrives are kind of old ones, but neer had problems until this stuff started hapening yesterday. i'm running memtest hcl as we speak. anyone have any input?

strangly enough, after taking out the ram in slots 2 and 4, metro last light is running smoother and the pc booted faster. before, it would wait likea min or two before playing the windows intro music, now, right when the desktop showed it played. hmmm, well, playing metro now, guess we'll see if it crashes
