Asus WINXP to Win7 BOOTMGR

HI guys, i have a pc with asus P5VD2-VM m/b when i try to install win7 doesn't boot from cd or usb when i use windows XP(current operating system) boots normally from cd.i also tryed (fixboot.fixmgr too) Is there any chance that needs bios update?

Hi,

Go in bios and put dvd as first boot.
Do you have an original win 7 install disk or has it been downloaded from the net ?

Did you download and .iso and burned it to disk ?

Yeah downloaded from microsoft.com because we use academic lisences. Iso burned to dvd with windows 7 usb/dvd tool. doesn't boot from usb too...
