I am running a test rig of Win Server 2012.

Hi,

I just had the same problem with a Z87 Extreme4 and got it solved! The driver was in the installation CD for the motherboard. For some reason, the CD worked fine but this specific driver would not install and then after installation the CD itself would cause my DVD reader to stop being recognized so the computer simply could not find it. So in another computer I popped in the ASR installation CD, copied the drivers folder, transferred it to the new computer, and directed Device Manager to look at that folder. It was then easy. But I was going nuts until I thought of this.

Hope this helps others --- I was desperate for a while.

Did you found any solution for your i211AT?
I have exactly the same problem.
1217V is working after tweaking it but can't get the 1211AT working.
I am also running windows server 2012 with the Z87 Extreme6.

I did eventually. Using the same procedure as above I edited the file e1r63x64.inf and added the line:
%E1539NC.DeviceDesc% = E1539.6.2.1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1539
This worked and has since updated with the latest Intel drivers.
