so im trying to transfer some files from my pc hdd to my laptop using a sata to usb adapter, but in my computer the hard drive doesnt appear under "hard disc drives", but in stead under "devices with removable storage", and it wont let me browse through the files on it. when i click on it, it says "please insert a disc into removable disc "D"", which doesnt make any sense.
