Should I go 4770k or 3770k?

I am currently building a rig and I have the option between the two. I would like to have your opinion between the two considering that the 3770k is cooler and its performance isn't too far off. Also, there is a $50 difference between the two at microcenter and I would love to use $50 more on my gpu. Thanks!

If the 3770K is $50 cheaper it's definitely the better deal.

Get the cheaper one with out question. The performance difference is almost nothing. The main difference is in the igpu and you are going to be using a discrete GPU so you would gain really nothing but speeding more money. Question is what is the main thing you will be using your rig for? If it is for gaming the i5 3570K would still be the best bet as gaming will not take full use of a i7.

As the others said, there isn't much in it, but if you have the money to get a 4770k , get it,
But personally I'd go for a 3770k. What will you be using it for?
