Sometimes my computer crashes and when I try to start it no image comes up. My headset and my external hard drive works tho. And i tryed to start my computer with it open and I can hear that its something weird going on with the cpu fan.

it goes fast then slows down and does the same thing again for about 1 min then it gets normal. Sometimes my computer starts tho, like now :p I have had this issue for about 2 weeks. I red that if its a driver related issue I would see a bsod but I have never seen it on this computer :p. This issue is really annoying for me since it often happends when I play :(

I bought this computer its not hand made and i have only put in a ssd and one extra GPU

btw my main language isnt english but i hope you guys can read it anyways.

Startup issues can have a lot of causes. Since you mention this is a store bought computer and you added a video card, you should first look at power. Does your power supply offer enough 12v power to start the system?

We'll need the following:
CPU
Motherboard
Video Card
Power supply total wattage or the exact make/model

Let's see if that is the problem first before we get into any detailed troubleshooting.

Motherboard : MSI Z77A-S01

CPU : Intel core i5 3570k 3.4 GHz

GPU: Nvidia gtx 570

GPU that i put in : GTX 220 I think this one is made by Gigabte and the 570 is made by Evga

Power Supply : 550W

So you have a GTX570 and a GT220 in there? One for PhysX?

Yeah, 550W non-branded might not be enough for that, generally have a 12v total of 400 or 450, and cheap ones are rated at 20 degrees celsius, which is unrealistic.

3570k 77W at stock clock/voltage, overclocked it can be much higher.
50W for most motherboards.
150W for a GTX570
Hard drives, fans, etc will add to that total.
And another video card 75W max draw from a PCI-e slot.

That would get rather close to 400W.

Hmm, that sounds like a slightly iffy combo of cards to me. Granted idk much about dual card systems, but I would expect problems to arise. I dont see how one can gain much adding a weak card for physx to a good card that already has physx.
And if its an o.e.m. non branded psu I would translate 550watts as about 420.

I don't think we know why you have it in there along-side the GTX570, not much point to it. Just consuming extra power.

If you want to continue running both, yes a new power supply would be advisable. If you are on a budget, something like the Corsair Builder series 750W, if you want to spend some more on quality, a 620W from Seasonic or XFX.

You are wasting time using two cards unless they are the same in sli. This would neep a big quality psu.
There isnt a cheap reliable way round your problem. Idk if you can run 3 monitors in sli, with different feeds, these guys can tell you about that.

Simple PSU test: Remove the 220GT. Does the PC boot more reliably?
Simple PSU test 2: Remove the GTX 570 and boot using the 220GT. Does the PC boot more reliably?

If no to both, then I'd look at temps next (CPU fan could be ramping up/down due to heat, which would explain the failures to boot if starting temps were too high).

And an FYI: Even when using PhysX, the 220 is so slow, its probably slowing you down more then just using the 570 would.

Did your test but nothing diffrent on 2 but with method one it works :p, do you know any programs that can measure my cpu temp?

And i btw guys I think I found the problem :p, look at this photo, some of the colored cables from my power supply to my motherboard is broken, idk if you can see it since i had to zoom in with my phone.
