Hi
I currenly have the following configuration
AMD Athlon II X2 260
Asus M4N68T-M LE V2
GSKILL 4GB DDR III 1333MHZ
Asus HD7750-1GD5-V2
CIRCLE 500W PSU
I want to upgrade this to AMD FX 6300 with an ASUS board and 4GB more of DDR III ram. I am going to keep my graphic card and I want to be able to play CRYSIS 3 without lag at 1366x768 with high settings. Currently the frame-rate is too low.
I want to know if Windows 7 or Windows 8 are optimized for FX processors. I would also like to know if video conversion software are optimized for the FX processor. I would like to record CRYSIS 3 game play using FRAPS and compress it using handbrake for upload to youtube.
I want to know if I can do all these things if I upgrade. Will I need to upgrade my GPU too? Also currently I am using PCI-E v1.0 slot for my Graphic card (which is a PCI-E v3.0 card), will the upgrade to V2.0 boost performance significantly ?
