What do you do if you have left the plastic sticker on your heat sink for CPU and only realized a week after you built it?

Note: I have put it through a very intensive course of constant gaming and internet browsing

Umm, be glad you didn't melt anything? Seriously, just take the heatsink off and reattach. Hopefully no issues.

Have you checked your temperatures? Checking temperatures is one of the first things you should do when you build your computer and turn it on after installation of OS. Preferably, you should do it even before OS installation in BIOS (and of course after in OS and when you start stressing the system).

The plastic must have melted and difficult to scrape off. If that's the case, use a hair dryer to melt it up and wipe off.
